The SEMI of the FIE decided at their meeting on 23rd+24th June 2007 on the following new rules:
1.) certified tips and barrels for Foil and Epee
All tips and barrels of FWF Fechtwelt are manufactured according to the rules and regulations of the FIE. The new rules demand that FIE certified tips and barrels have to be used for fencing on all FIE competitions. You recognise them on the engraving „FIE08“.
The tips and barrels of FWF Fechtwelt were certified by the FIE on 24.03.2008 and can therefore be used on all competitions.
2.) certified special fabric fencing pistes
Special fabric fencing pistes have to be certified by the FIE. Only certified pistes are allowed to be used on FIE competitions. Certified pistes can be recognised on the marking with a serial number given by the FIE. The customer also receives a certificate for each piste. The special fabric fencing pistes of FWF Fechtwelt have been certified by the FIE and can be used on all FIE competitions.
